Currents. Design in Berlin is a new, community-based event, premiering September 10 to 12, 2026. Various players from the city's design and interior community – brands, studios, galleries, retail, showrooms, individuals and institutions – will take part and turn Berlin in a three day and night showcase catering to public and professional audiences alike. From exhibitions to workshops, from receptions to talks, from studio visits to product launches, Currents. Design in Berlin is the opportunity to explore the vibrant, dynamic and diverse design and interior scene of the city.

Currents. Design in Berlin is initiated and run by the journalists Laura Ewert and Jasmin Jouhar and is funded through participation fees.
